Scott Long is a human rights activist focusing on sexuality and gender. He has worked for over 25 years at the intersection of sexuality and human rights, documenting and advocating against human rights abuses on four continents. He served from 2004-10 as Founding Director of Human Rights Watch's program on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights. He has been a Visiting Fellow at Harvard Law School's Human Rights Program.
