Ramsen Shamon is an Assyrian-American who works as a web producer at POLITICO Pro. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. As an undergraduate, he studied abroad at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He recently received his Master’s degree in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. He has been published by such media outlets as UPI, Military Times, Army Times and US News & World Report. His research focuses on human rights issues, arts and culture, religion and politics.
