Rahul Sur is a former officer of the United Nations Office of Internal Oversight Services. He held critical positions in the UN: Chief of Peacekeeping Evaluation, where he supervised teams assessing the effectiveness of peacekeeping missions; and Chief of Conduct and Discipline in the Office of the Special-Representative of the Secretary-General (OSRSG), held during the UN peacekeeping mission in Haiti. He served in the Indian Police Service, retiring at the rank of Inspector General. He holds a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Delhi University.
