Petra is currently a stringer for AFP. As a foreign news reporter and storyteller based in Bratislava, Slovakia, she passionately covers geopolitics, human rights, cultural differences and their impact on world affairs, including diplomacy and conflicts. She holds a degree in journalism from the University of Hamburg and also studied at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She previously worked as a Special US Correspondent in Washington, DC, for Slovak broadcaster Slovak Television and Radio (STVR).
