Nilufar Ahmed

Nilufar Ahmed is an experienced academic and social researcher whose interests lie in the intersection of psychology, sociology and geography. At the heart of her work is the question: How do people and place impact on each other? This question is addressed in a variety of contexts within which she has research expertise, which include the experiences of Muslims in Europe, radicalization and extremism, mental health, self harm, ethnicity and race, refugees and asylum seekers, and aging populations. She has published books and articles in these areas and is a regular contributor to media and training programs.
