Melanie Müller is a research fellow at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP). She has been working on political developments in sub-Saharan Africa, migration and on human rights in the supply chain of raw materials. Multiple research trips have taken her to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Niger and Ghana.
