Maryam Jafar Khan is a second-year BS Mass Communication student at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, where she serves as Editorial Lead for the Social Science & Humanities Department Production Studios. A science student turned storyteller, she remains deeply inspired by biology, biotechnology, and biomedical engineering, and is passionate about making complex scientific topics accessible to wider audiences. AI regulation, international relations, and the intersection of technology and policy equally drive her. Maryam has previously interned at Jazz Pakistan, producing digital content across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok on topics including healthcare innovation and AI advancements. When she's not writing, she performs as a vocalist with NUST’s Music Society, and you will always find her with a book and headphones at hand.
