Mahdi Faraji

Mahdi Faraji is a lecturer in Health and Social Care based in the UK. Originally from Iran, he also has a clinical background in dentistry and periodontology. His writing focuses on the political, social and ethical dimensions of conflict, public life and international affairs. Drawing on both professional and personal perspectives, he is interested in how war, power and policy shape societies beyond the battlefield. His work brings together questions of human cost, political responsibility and regional change, with particular attention to Iran and the wider Middle East. He writes from a cross-disciplinary and internationally informed perspective.
