Maha Shahid is an International Relations graduate from the National Defence University, Islamabad, based in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan. Her research interests include South Asian politics, gender and nationalism, artificial intelligence and emerging security challenges. She has interned at Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, gaining experience in diplomacy and public policy. Maha writes on geopolitics, technology and international affairs, with a particular focus on Global South perspectives. Outside her research, she enjoys watching current affairs and news, playing badminton and following cricket.
