Kip T. Whittington is the former international security editor at Fair Observer. He is currently a freelance consultant and an editorial assistant at War on the Rocks. He has worked as a professional associate in public diplomacy with the US Department of State in Saudi Arabia and as a research associate with the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies in Washington, DC. He holds a Master of International Affairs degree from Texas A&M University.
