Khosro Isfahani is an open-source investigator with the Atlantic Council working on all things Iran from human rights violations and protests to missiles, drones and war crimes. Born and raised in Iran and after years of frontline human rights work and journalism there, he left the country in 2021 to join BBC Monitoring. He left the service after being tapped as Colby College human rights fellow for 2023 and a year later joined the Atlantic Council where he currently leads research on human rights and international law violations committed by individuals within and linked to the Islamic Republic.
