Kelsy Burke

Kelsy Burke is an assistant professor of sociology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is the author of “Christians under Covers: Evangelicals and Sexual Pleasure on the Internet” (2016, University of California Press), a book that explores religion and sexual politics through a virtual ethnography of Christian sexuality websites. Her research has also appeared in Sexualities, Sociological Compass, the Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion, and the Journal for Religion & Popular Culture.
