Kanan Yusifli is an independent researcher, youth worker and project manager from Azerbaijan. He is currently pursuing a degree in Information Security at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics and holds a strong passion for civic digital innovation. Kanan is the founder of several youth-focused initiatives, including Vision in Action and Shape Your Future, which aim to empower young people from vulnerable backgrounds — such as refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs) and economically disadvantaged communities — through workshops on leadership, communication and career development. He has experience leading EU-funded youth projects and contributing to global campaigns like HeForShe Azerbaijan. With a growing interest in research, he explores the intersections of conflict transformation, gender equality and youth empowerment across the South Caucasus.
