Julian Assange is an Australian publisher and journalist. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of the whistleblower platform WikiLeaks, which was established in 2006. In 2012, fearing prosecution, he sought political asylum inside the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, where he has lived ever since.
