John P. Holdren is the Teresa and John Heinz professor of environmental policy at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, and a professor of environmental science and policy at the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences in Harvard University. Holdren is the former science adviser to President Barack Obama and the ex-director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (2009-17).
