Jeffrey Kaplan is an American academic who has written and edited a number of books on racism, religious violence, terrorism and the far-right. He is an Associate Professor of Religion at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and he is the Director of the university's Institute for the Study of Religion, Violence and Memory. Kaplan sits on the Executive Board and serves as the Book Review Editor, and he sits on the Editorial Board of the Terrorism and Political Violence journal. He recently co-edited and contributed an article to a special issue of the journal focused on lone wolf and autonomous cell terrorism.
