Dr. I.P. Singh is a senior plastic and reconstructive surgeon who has been a leading pioneer in his field. He has been a consultant at the Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in New Delhi for over three decades. In the past, Singh served the Indian Army with distinction. He operated on soldiers wounded in the 1971 war, in the Indian Peace Keeping Force operations in Sri Lanka and in the insurgencies in Kashmir, Punjab and Northeast India. Dr. Singh has an avid interest in history, his wife has a love for literature and both his sons were scholars at Oxford.
