Heather Houston is the director of The Frances A. Karnes Center for Gifted Studies at The University of Southern Mississippi and enjoys helping students and families navigate their way through giftedness and other neurodivergent exceptionalities that impact learning. Having lived in Mississippi, Texas, West Virginia and Kentucky, she has a broad range of personal experience with methods for organizing learning systems for gifted learners and loves training educators who share her passion for lifting students up to their highest potential. She holds multiple degrees in both business and education and is a certified teacher in gifted, English, economics, business and online learning.
