Hannah Storm is director of the International News Safety Institute, which provides practical safety advice and training to journalists working in dangerous environments. Prior to joining INSI in 2010, she worked as a journalist for more than a decade, with much of that time spend overseas in areas such as the Middle East, South America and Haiti. She has experience working across newspapers, news wires, radio, TV and online and has worked as a journalist for organisations including the BBC, Reuters, The Times and ITN. Last year, she edited the first book on safety for women journalists and is considered an expert in the area.
