Dimitra Blana is a research fellow in Biomedical Engineering at Keele University, United Kingdom. Her research interests focus on musculoskeletal modeling and the restoration of arm movement in disorders such as stroke or spinal cord injury. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, and an MSc and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, United States. Blana is a member of the International Society of Biomechanics, and the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine.
