Daniele-Hadi Irandoost is a British-Iranian-Romanian doctoral researcher in Sociology at the University of Glasgow. His research examines public oversight of intelligence-driven digital surveillance under the United Kingdom’s Investigatory Powers framework and is supported by Watching the Watchers: Strengthening Public Oversight of Intelligence, under Professor Jane Duncan’s British Academy Global Professorship, GP/400069. He has studied intelligence and strategic studies, philosophy of education and history, and writes across surveillance studies, intelligence oversight, and geopolitics. Daniele is the founder of TEDxLambeth and the author of several books.
