Daniel Luger

Daniel Luger is an Assistant Professor at the University of Vienna, Austria. He studied History and Classical Archeology at the Universities of Vienna and Siena. He wrote his masters thesis about cultural history of administration in the late medieval Holy Roman Empire. He is currently writing a PhD-thesis on humanism at the court of Emperor Frederick III. (1440-1493). Principal research interests are Medieval and Renaissance history, especially life and culture at the Habsburg courts and the European diffusion of Italian humanism.
