Bradley Wood

Bradley Wood is a researcher who focuses on Indonesia. He is currently a Master of Strategic Studies student at the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre, the Australian National University Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs. He is also a graduate from the Australian Graduate School of Policing and Security at Charles Sturt University. His main research interest is Indonesia in the areas of politics, defense, security, terrorism and foreign policy. He is also interested in Australia’s defense, security, strategic policy and defense relationship with Southeast Asia. He was awarded first prize for the 2016 Future Strategic Writers Competition, which was hosted by the Institute for Regional Security and Australian Defence Business Review. He has traveled throughout Indonesia extensively and visited several Southeast Asian countries. Wood is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, and briefly served as a civilian cultural liaison and interpreter for the Australian government in Indonesia.
