Angie Bittar is a Syrian researcher and journalist with expertise in political violence, non-state armed groups and development contexts. She has a BA in International Relations and Psychology from the College of Wooster and an MA in International Development and Conflict Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute. Her academic work has focused on developing interdisciplinary frameworks for understanding violence and implementing evidence-based approaches to reconciliation.
