Andrew Miller

Andrew Miller spent his career working on endangered species and habitat assessment methods at the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center, Vicksburg, MS. Following retirement, he taught biology for five years at Thomas University, Thomasville, Georgia. His research interests include freshwater mussels, methods for protecting and restoring aquatic habitats, use of collaborative methods to solve environmental problems, and conditions that brought about passage of environmental legislation in the early 1970s. He holds a PhD from the University of Louisville.
