Alessio is a PhD student based at the University of Bristol (UK). His dissertation is on established radical right political parties that have an increasing electoral success and impact in most Western European party systems. His research project explores the growing electoral success of established radical right political parties in studies of cleavage structures. More specifically, he looks at how these political parties actively internalise new recent fundamental socio-political changes and convert them into electoral consent.
