Xaveer Claerhout studied History of Art at the University of Leuven in Belgium. Afterwards he studied architecture at Lacambre in Brussels, Belgium.
Barbara Van Biervliet studied civil engineering-architecture at the University of Leuven.
They run an architecture and design studio, Kinetura. For several years now, the studio has been focusing on metamorphic lighting, furniture, and architecture. Kinetura has won international Design Awards, such as the Red Dot Award and the IF award.
