Since 2000, Stephen Powell has been Managing Director of SinoPowell Capital, an investment and advisory firm based in New York that specializes in international transactions in minerals, energy, commodities, real estate, finance and infrastructure. His company has worked on transactions in over 20 countries with several projects in Africa. Previously, he was an investment banker in New York and Dallas. Mr. Powell has a BA in Economics (honors) from Brown University, an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School.
