Sasha Riser-Kositsky joined Eurasia Group's Asia practice in 2011 as a researcher with a focus on India.  He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, with a triple major in South Asia studies, comparative politics, and diplomatic history for which he wrote an honors thesis examining the developmental benefits of state bifurcation in India.  He travelled extensively across India to conduct primary research for his thesis, and interned with a social enterprise incubator in rural Rajasthan.
