Dr. N. Janardhan has a doctorate in international relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His research areas include political systems, international relations, media and labour in the Gulf region, which are reflected in nearly 500 published articles in newspapers and several academic chapters. His book – Boom Amid Gloom: The Spirit of Possibility in the 21st Century Gulf – is scheduled for release by Ithaca (UK) in June 2011.
