Originally from Turin, Italy, Mauro is a PhD student at the Department of Political Science of Northwestern University, specializing in International Relations and Political Methodology. He holds a Master's degree in International Economics and International Relations from the School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor degree from the University of Turin. His research interests are in the field of security studies and international political economy.
