Maxime Larivé is a PhD candidate in International Relations and European Politics at the University of Miami. He is currently writing his dissertation on the question of European security during the Solana era. He also works as a research assistant at the EU Center of Excellence at the University of Miami and as a Lecturer in International Relations and Transatlantic security. He completed a traineeship at the EU Delegation to the UN in New York and at the Center for Political-Military Analysis at the Hudson Institute. Maxime also writes weekly articles on European security for the Foreign Policy Association’s Blogs.
