Dr. Chen is an adjunct professor of finance at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Hisresearch interests include real estate finance, fixed income securities, behavioral finance, urban economics and housing policy. He has been invited to give research seminars at many universities, government agencies, and research institutions.

Dr. Chen writes blogs on the topic of real estate and finance in China. His blog has attracted more than 200,000 hits in the later half of 2011. He also writes column articles for CAIXIN media’s New Century, a weekly magazine on China’s politics, economics, and finance.

Dr. Chen earned his BS in EE from Xi’an Jiaotong University, his MS in EE from Shanghai Jiaotong Unviersity, and his PhD in Computational Finance from Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland at College Park.
