Harry Verhoeven is finishing a PhD/DPhil at the Department of Politics & International Relations at the University of Oxford (St Cross College). He Convenes the Oxford University China-Africa Network (OUCAN) and the Oxford Central Africa Forum (OCAF) and is the author of a recently published Chatham House paper on the politics of oil and water in the Horn of Africa and the Sudan-Ethiopia relationship. He also teaches African Politics at Oxford and specializes in conflict, development and ecology in Sudan, Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda and Congo
