Emma grew up in Oxford and studied English Literature, German and Philosophy at Durham University. Despite feeling deeply connected to the U.K., along with all its paradoxes and eccentricities, she loves the thrill of being abroad. She has lived in Vienna, Austria and is currently a teacher in Cheongju, South Korea. She is particularly interested in how the arts can help us in our daily lives and their power to define us.
