Ari Basen is currently completing his Bachelors of International Studies at the American University. He focuses on global security affairs with a specialization in asymmetrical warfare and emerging threats to national security. He served as the co-chair for Defense and Diplomacy policy at the Roosevelt Institue from 2011-12.
