Angelina Fernandez is a Mexican student getting her Bachelors of Fine Arts at SUNY Purchase, in the state of New York. “I want to be a professional cartoonist so that I can get paid to draw funny pictures that make people happy. I hope to explore all the topics that I’m interested in with my art, and interest other people in what I think,” she says. She would like to recommend 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez, for its ability to show fantasy and political opinions without overstating.
