Mental health experts are calling on Congress to require a thorough psychological evaluation of Donald Trump to determine his mental fitness.

President Donald Trump’s aggressive rhetoric, extreme narcissism and actions have showed that he may be willing to put the nation, and even the world, at risk. As commander-in-chief, he holds the steering wheel over the US Army, and his loose language for military action is of grave concern. Officials are skeptical of Trump’s decision-making capabilities in dealings with North Korea out of fear that his strategy may result in nuclear war.

From preaching falsities in his State of the Union speech to alleged Russia cover-ups, Trump could be identified as a pathological liar. According to The New York Times, Trump has lied so frequently that even his lawyers are “concerned that the president, who has a history of making false statements and contradicting himself, could be charged with lying to investigators.”

Political affiliation aside, the state of the president’s mental health is a universal threat. Trump has deflected such accusations through Twitter, claiming that he is a “very stable genius” whose “two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart.” It is narcissistic comments like this that have experts concerned over his cognitive well-being.

In this video, Brave New Films features the professional psychologists who express the dire need for Trump to undergo a mental examination for the safety of the world.
