Silsilah Maroof obtained an MSc in Management from the University College London (UCL) and a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Sociology from the City University London. She currently works at Deloitte and previously completed an Internship with StrategyOne; the research arm of Edelman, an independent public relations firm.

Silsilah has a particular interest in business and entrepreneurship, which developed further whilst writing her Master’s thesis on the paradigm of Open Innovation and Entrepreneurship, as well as completing a consultancy project with Inner Zap, a start-up firm that produces energy drinks.
