Nishtha Chugh is the International Security Editor at Fair Observer. As a print and broadcast journalist she has worked for several leading media brands in the UK and India. Her work has appeared on the BBC, Open Democracy, Africa News, Outlook and the Indian Express among others.

Fluent in four languages, Nishtha has a master's degree in International Security from Bristol University. She is particularly interested in exploring the overlap between security and global economy besides oil and energy politics, religious fundamentalism, Russia, Pakistan and North Africa.

When not worrying about world problems, she is busy learning Arabic and thinking up ideas to win a space holiday, preferably aboard the International Space Station.
