Katerina Nordin completed her BA History with Honours at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS - University of London), specializing in early Islamic female scholarship. She is currently studying for her MPhil in Islamic Studies and History at the University of Oxford.

She is of Malaysian, Portuguese, English, and Irish heritage.

Katerina is actively involved in the Muslim community and has been in the Executive Committees of SOAS’ and Oxford University’s Islamic Societies. She has appeared on a number of Muslim radio and television programs and also contributes to magazines, community projects, and youth work.
