Jarno Lang completed his Magister (MA) in English literary and cultural studies, modern history, and public law at the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg. His MA thesis concerned hybrid identities in the Indonesian Revolution of 1965. He is currently completing his PhD on how Indonesian media view US foreign policy, at the Department for International Relations at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg im Breisgau.
