Contributing Editor (International Security) at Fair Observer, Ari Katz studies International Relations with a concentration in Middle East US foreign policy at the American University School of International Service. When not investigating geopolitics, Ari serves as a volunteer firefighter/paramedic with a busy urban department and a Global Security Analyst with Katz Consultancy LLC. Fluent in Farsi, Ari’s specific interests include US national security studies with particular regard to Iran and China, military affairs/technology, photography, and playing basketball.
