Fair Observer (www.fairobserver.com) is a bold start-up project by a young team. We are creating a media platform  where people from around the world can share their thoughts, ideas and insights on issues of global significance.
Already, we have more than 300 contributors from over 30 countries and eminent advisers from across the world such as former Irish Prime Minister, John Bruton.
We are based in San Francisco, and are looking for exceptional people to join our team (for at least 6 weeks).

User Interface & Experience Designer°

You will be working on innovative projects in an international environment that will stretch and inspire you.

Your tasks will include:

• conceptualizing and developing the new website across platforms and operating systems
• optimizing the user‘s reading experience
• developing the gamification strategy

You should apply if:

• You are ambitious, irreverent and get your hands dirty
• You believe that coding is like poetry, actually haiku poetry
• You are familiar with key languages such as PHP, Python, JavaScript, CSS and HTML5, both MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis and FlockDB, and APIs
• You are fearless in exploring new technologies and love international teams
• You want to be part of a founding team with a share of equity, gain broad experience in all aspects of the company including fund raising and forge relationships with eminent people with a wide range of backgrounds, former heads of state, intelligence chiefs, generals, professors and business leaders
