In This Country, People Are Withdrawing Water From ATMs

The Philippine government is applying new solutions to water shortages in affected regions.

In the eastern Pangasinan region of the Philippines, clean and safe water is a scarce commodity. In order to alleviate water shortages, the government has set up an Automatic Tubig Machine (ATM) scheme, where residents can draw clean water just like you would do with money from an ATM.
